Coming in at number one is Bagel Street Deli. This is my favorite spot to eat in Athens because the food is always great, you have a great view of the downtown Athens area, and the experience you get when you go to Bagel Street. If you go to Ohio University or you are just visiting regardless, this is a must stop.

Coming in at number two is Union Street Diner. This is one of my favorite spots to eat in Athens because it is one of the restaurants open late that serves good food at a cheap price. If you go to Ohio University you likely know of this spot and it is usually a favorite for many.

Coming in at number three is El Tenampa. This is a newer restaurant in the Athens area coming to Court Street just this past year, but it has a bright future. They serve great authentic Mexican cuisine at a great price not to mention they have great deals on margaritas every Friday.

Coming in at number four is O'Betty's Red Hot. This is a great place to stop after a night out with friends for a late-night grab N go. They serve great hot dogs and french fries.

Coming in at number five is Casa Nueva. Casa Nueva always provides a great atmosphere whether you are there to eat or drink. They also have live music performances, locally sourced food, and local art. Although this one rounds out my list, I would definitely recommend visiting Casa Nueva.
